I finished Checkmate the last book of the Lymond Chronicles, last night. But I do not foresee my love of these books ever fading. God. I just have a lot of feelings right now.

I am successfully returned to Toronto! I celebrated by dumping my stuff and hopping on my bike to see Mad Max for a third time. Hey, it was cheap movie night, and Peter was going. (His first time.) Yesterday I had a nice walk in the morning, and spent the afternoon and evening staring out the windows at the torrential downpour the day had become. It hasn't actually stopped raining, not in any substantial way, even now. Gah, almost forgot to update! It's late, and I'm tired. I biked today though, and that was fun. I also bought a sassy bike bell, so I'm finally legal. (I didn't know that it was actually illegal in Toronto to bike without a bell, until today, when I also found out that a police officer can issue bell-less bikers a $110 fine.) I hauled myself out of bed this morning in time to make it to the meeting point for this day tour, because it's supposed to be really good and I had hoped to go on it.
